Bring to your Holiday concert the sounds and traditions of the European Cathedrals and their massive pipe organs and large choirs. A Cathedral Christmas features four Christmas Carols heard for centuries in the European cathedrals. It includes: “Of The Father’s Love”, based on a 10th century medieval plainsong; “Angelus Ad Virginem”, a medieval French carol brought to Britain by the French friars in the 13th century; “Gabriel’s Message”, a centuries old folk carol from the Basque region of Spain; “I Saw Three Ships Come Sailing In”, a 17th century British folk carol. Charlie Hill’s skillful orchestration and creativity captures the delicate nuances of
this music which has stood the test of time and remains today a part of our worldwide Christmas music tradition.
