En Fuego is an exhilarating concert overture for middle-level band. Not often do emerging ensembles have the opportunity to play a Latin-inspired piece in a minor key (g), with a hint of the Dorian mode. This piece would be an excellent addition to
any concert and is well-suited for contests and festivals. In addition, En Fuego is perfect for bands with large percussion sections, as it calls for: timpani, bells, chimes, xylophone, suspended cymbal, ride cymbal, crash cymbals, finger cymbals, snare drum, toms, bass drum, and a shaker.
